Common Elbow Conditions
Several common elbow conditions can affect individuals, ranging from overuse injuries to inflammatory conditions. Some of the common elbow conditions include tennis elbow, bursitis, elbow arthritis, elbow fracture and elbow dislocation
It's important to note that any persistent or severe elbow pain should be evaluated by a healthcare professional to determine the exact cause and appropriate treatment. Treatment options may include rest, physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medications, bracing, or in some cases, surgical intervention.
Elbow Conditions We Treat
Elbow Bursitis
Elbow bursitis also known as olecranon bursa is a fluid-filled sac located at the tip of the elbow. Inflammation or infection of this bursa can lead to swelling, pain, and limited range of motion.
Biceps Tendonitis
Inflammation of the biceps tendon, which attaches to the radius bone at the elbow, can cause pain and swelling.
Golfer's Elbow
Similar to tennis elbow, golfer's elbow affects the inner part of the elbow. It involves inflammation of the tendons that attach to the medial epicondyle, causing pain and discomfort.
Radial Tunnel Syndrome
Compression of the radial nerve in the forearm can cause pain on the outer part of the elbow. This condition is less common than cubital tunnel syndrome.
